David Barsky is a Southern California songwriter and bassist, by way of Philadelphia, working in the space between jam and indie. His debut solo album, Weird Times, was written and recorded while he navigated serious medical hardships — the kind of stretch where, as he puts it, joy and hurt and peace and pain start to feel like the same thing.
